5 Reasons Why You Shouldn't Buy iPhone 5

MANILA, Philippines - I am currently using a Samsung Galaxy S3 and I never owned an iPhone--but--but--but it doesn't mean I cannot review one. I had an iPod  touch 4G long time ago, and seeing the specs of new iPhone isn't 10 levels higher of the iPod.  I have the right to review one! I know many people would defend iPhone for the reason that it is iPhone. It is a brand that we all know and love--err--love to have and brag!

I have 5 (maybe) VALID reasons as to why you should choose the Samsung Galaxy S3 or any other phones over an iPhone.

1.  iPhone 5 looks awful

Isn't it so long and thin? It's like the already-in-peace Nokia 5110 just flatter? Just kidding. Seeing it just taller makes me laugh at the design. LG did it once with one of their chocolate phones, and it was awful to look at. Maybe we will still get used to it in the future, though--most especially when the next iPhone 10 comes in the scene--a 12-inch long iPhone with (hopefully) bluetooth file transfer support this time.

Big momma would love this vibrating iPhone for sure!

2. Apple has no Steve Jobs no more

Since the guy's gone, I've never felt anything "wowable" about the products they release anymore. The wow factor has become the "oh, I see" or some bloggers would say "oh, that's it." I am not saying Apple is Steve Jobs but Steve Jobs is indeed Apple. He helped and presented the iPhones well, we were all amazed! But now the old man's gone, and we don't see anything that has changed a lot since . iPhone 5 is a clear example-why upgrade if iPhone 4s is so similar.

3. iPhone maps is a killer

Seriously? From Google Maps to beta maps? This is one of the biggest disappointment of all time probably second to Lance Armstrong doping. Apple is removing all of the best of Google's to make iPhone truly their own, which I find so wrong and greedy. Google has helped so many people see their house from above without using a helicopter, and removing that with a very awful application sure is a big mistake. I wonder how many cars were installed an underwater system just because of the awful iPhone maps.

For real? An underwater bridge?

4. iPhone is over-priced

iPhone is expensive. You cannot argue about that. Apple IS expensive. The S3 was about PHP30,000 on it's first day of release, the iPhone is around 30k, too. But why I think overpriced you say? Did you read 1-3 of this post? Maybe you have the idea now, that Apple shouldn't be of that price at all.

This one sure is expensive!
5. iPhone 5 loses to Samsung Galaxy S3

Specs wise-yes! We ain't looking at the individual specs no more. And "technically," Samsung S3 wins, no doubt. Samsung S3 can have all the features iPhone 5 has--Facetime, Maps (which is dangerous), hmm.. what else? Time's up! Moving on, iPhone cannot have the features S3 offers--instant file transfer, video playing while you do something else, smart movement detection features and BLUETOOTH file transfer.

Them phones we all cannot have.

Ok, to sum it up.. I am clearly hating iPhone 5 by looking at some of its weak spots. Don't you worry guys. I will try to get hold of an iPhone one day and try to appreciate the beauty of it. But not now.. Not now.

But here is a more detailed video review of the top phones.

Which phone do you prefer, though?
